Labour and the Liberal Democrats have struck a deal to run Cumbria County Council - despite the Tories becoming the largest party in last month's election.

The Conservatives took 37 seats on May 4 with Labour taking 26, the Liberal Democrats 16 and five going to Independents.

Councillors will vote on whether to approve the coalition at the council's Annual General Meeting on 29 June.
