An art exhibition will be taking place this weekend until Sunday 25 June, at the Rose Castle, which used to be the private home of the Bishops of Carlisle.
The exhibition is the first major public event to be held at the castle since it was bought by the Rose Castle Foundation.
It will showcase work from nearly 50 local artists, mostly from Cumbria.
The castle is being turned into a peace and reconciliation centre, where owners hope leaders from different religions and cultures can meet.
