Rolex watches and Chinese gold jewellery taken in burglary

Rolex watches and jewellery made with Chinese gold was stolen during a house burglary in Carlisle.

Police are investigating a house burglary which took place in the Kingstown area of Carlisle.

The break-in occurred late in the evening , on Saturday, August 12th when the burglar gained entry by smashing a patio window and made off several items of jewellery.

Police are appealing for any information known about the jewellery stolen, which is distinctive in that it is made from Chinese gold, which looks a brighter yellow than gold usually seen in the UK.

One item is of particular note - a ladies necklace with 10 bright yellow gold stars on a chain. There were also two Rolex watches, a ring with a pear shaped diamond and a number of other Chinese gold jewellery items taken. A watch and a ring can be seen in the attached picture.
