Fans were given the opportunity to get autographs and selfies with their favourite players.

The team also completed a full training session, ending with a prize draw which gave ten winners the chance to gain signed merchandise and exclusive match day experiences.

The event certainly made a big impression on the young Blues:

Manager Keith Curle said:

We’re a club that does a lot of good work in the community and events like this are important.

The children who are our Season Ticket holders and Junior Blue members now are this club’s fans of the future.

Inviting them along to meet the players and watch a training session is a way of us giving them something back.

They love meeting the lads and I know all of our players see this part of their job as a chance to put smiles on faces and to say thank you for the support they get.

We’re looking forward to it and we hope to see as many of our young fans there as possible on the day.”
