Five people have been arrested, after a man was found dead outside a property in Carlisle.
The North West Ambulance Service was called to Borland Avenue shortly before 6:30pm. When they arrived they found the man had died.
Cumbria Police were then called, and officers have arrested five people – three men and two women – on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled substance.
Officers remain at the scene and are likely to be there for much of the evening.
The cause of the man's death is currently being treated as unexplained, and he is yet to be formally identified.
