SATURDAY:

A mainly dry and bright afternoon. A bit cloudier across Galloway and west Cumbria with fresh northwesterly winds. Feeling rather cold, especially in the breeze. Highs 8°C.

OVERNIGHT:

A mostly dry and clear night with a frost developing, coldest places will be in the Border glens. Fresh winds across Galloway will ease. Lows -3°C.

SUNDAY:

A largely dry and bright but cold morning but clouding up with patchy rain reaching Galloway by afternoon. This light rain will push northeastwards during the evening. Highs struggling to get beyond 7°C.

OUTLOOK:

Rain clears south on Monday then mainly dry and cold. Dry start to Tuesday but rain and hill snow will spread north.
