The first stage consultation on the move of Edinburgh Woollen Mill's headquarters out of Scotland, is drawing to a close.
The firm has confirmed plans to move its head office from Langholm to Carlisle expected to move before the end of the year.
It says none of the 190 jobs will be lost and has promised to turn its current HQ in Langholm into a cultural centre.
The firm is continuing talks with staff ahead of the move.
The firm was established in the Dumfries and Galloway town more than 70 years ago.
However, it said the current premises - home to 190 staff - were not capable of supporting a "modern, fast-growing, national retail development".
