A dog named Boot prefers a dip in the lake to a walk in the park.
Owners Pete and Andrea are keen open swimmers and take to the water most days. Their black labrador goes along with them wearing a doggy life jacket. Boot has been known to swim the length of Crummock Water and double Buttermere.
