Local council looking forward to successful Appleby horse fair
Robin Hooper, the Chief Executive of Eden District Council told ITV Border:
"We want to build on the succes of last year. In 2011 thousands came to enjoy the Fair and arrests were down significantly as people came in the right spirit.
This year we have been working closely again with the travelling community and the other agencies involved to ensure we will see another fantastic event this year. We are extending a warm welcome to everyone who wants to come and make this year's horse fair a success."
