A south of Scotland project that encourages youngsters to try new sports has been nominated for a national award. The Annandale and Eskdale Sports Academy scheme has inspired thousands of children and is now competing to become the National Lottery's Best Sports Project.
Annandale and Eskdale Sports Academy has got through to the last nine in a bid to win the UK's Best Sports Project.
People can vote for the Annan-based sports academy's project on the National Lottery website till July 22nd.
