A 12-year-old boy has been airlifted to hospital with serious head injuries after falling 200 feet in the Lake District. The accident happened at Jacks Rake in the Langdale area.
A 12 year old boy is recovering at Newcastle's RVI after falling from a cliff in the Lake District.
He was walking with his father and friends when he fell 200ft, sustaining serious head injuries.
The boy is from Buckinghamshire - he was airlifted to hospital by a Sea King helicopter and is in a stable condition. His fall comes a month after two walkers died on the same climb in separate incidents.

The Great North Air Ambulance flew the boy, from Buckinghamshire, to Newcastle's Royal Victoria Infirmary where he's being treated.
