Hundreds attend gluten free food fayre in Cumbria
Hundreds of people from across the UK have attended a gluten free food fayre near Penrith. The event at the Rheged Centre is now in its 9th year and is run by the Cumbrian branch of the charity Coeliac UK.
Around 40 producers, many of them from Cumbria and southern Scotland sold goods ranging from pies, to bread, cakes and even beer.
Organisers say it gets bigger each year as more awareness is raised about the coeliac disease, which is caused by an intolerance to gluten. It's thought 1 in every 100 people are affected.
