Peter Sidwell joins 'Britain's Best Bakery'

Cumbrian chef Peter Sidwell has been confirmed as the co-presenter and face of the new ITV series 'Britain's Best Bakery'.

Mr Sidwell, who runs a restaurant in Rheged, will be working with Mich Turner MBE for the series.

Britain's Best Bakery is a national search to find the best bakery in the UK.

Each week the finest bakeries, from different regions across the country, will be explored.

The bakeries will be set a challenge by the presenters, finishing with a High Tea at the end of the week.

The winner from each region will then be put through to the final, which will involve highly challenging baking tasks.

The first episode will be aired at 4pm today (26th November).
