New Ambleside Campus plans: Full report
Plans have gone on show in Ambleside to show how 600 students can be brought back to the town without having a negative impact on the local community.
When the University of Cumbria first announced it's intentions to re-open it's campus many residents feared that it would bring hundreds of vehicles into a nearby housing estate.
These latest blueprints were designed to tackle those concerns.

New campus plans go on display
An exhibition showcasing new plans for phase one of the new Ambleside Campus are going on display.
Representatives from the University of Cumbria will be at the Low Nook building at the Ambleside campus, to answer questions and talk through the plans and exhibition boards with visitors.
Members of the public are being encouraged to go along and give their views on the plans.
Members from the planning design team are keen to show the public that they've taken on board comments made during the summer consultation programme.
