Archbishop of York visits Cumbria

The Archbishop of York is visiting Cumbria to see the work of the Diocese of Carlisle.

The Archbishop of York kicked off his day in Cumbria with a visit to Blunderfield Farm in Kirkoswald near Penrith.

He met with farmer Brian Armstrong, who explained the challenges the farming community has faced since foot and mouth.

He then went on to visit the newly re-built Trinity School in Carlisle where he met staff and pupils for a questions and answers session.
