A meeting to decide the future of Carlisle Airport is taking place later today.
City councillors will decided whether or not to give the go-ahead for a £25 million plan to redevelop the airport.
The proposal, by Stobart Air, would see a new 394,000 square foot distribution centre created and the resurfacing of runways.
The original plans were approved back in August 2012, but they were never confirmed.
Councillors will consider new information before giving their decision.
Councillors are being recommended to stand by their decision to allow a £25 million redevelopment of Carlisle Airport.
The application was approved in principle last year and goes back before a meeting at Carlisle City Council tomorrow (25th January).
