Prime Minister David Cameron has tweeted praise for Cumbria Day after visiting the exhibition in Westminster.
He said:
"Just visited #cumbriaday event at parliament to promote tourism in this beautiful area. Brings back happy memories of swimming in Ullswater."

Producers who make everything from beer to brie have been spending the day at Westminster for the first ever Cumbria Day.
The Prime Minister has been sampling different food and drink produced in the county.

Dozens of food and drink producers are showcasing the best the county has to offer to ministers at Westminster. During Prime Ministers Questions, David Cameron reminisced about his time in the county.
Cumbria's finest produce on display in Westminster
Suppliers from all over Cumbria will be providing samples of Cumbrian delicacies as part of 'Cumbria Day' in Westminster.
Grasmere Gingerbread, Cartmel Sticky Toffee Pudding, Cumbrian cheeses and Cumberland sausages, will join ales from the Ulverston Brewery company and Coniston Brewery.
One brewer from Cumbria has produced a beer which was recently named the best n Britain:
– Ian Bradley, Coniston Brewery"It's vitality important that we shout loud about the quality of produce in Cumbria.
"We produce some of the best food and drink in the UK, and the small sample of food and drink here today goes to show the high quality of what Cumbria has to offer."

Cumbria Day in the House of Commons
More than a dozen food and drinks producers are showcasing their products in the House of Commons, as part of 'Cumbria Day'.
The event is being jointly run by Taste Cumbria, Cumbria Tourism and six Cumbrian MPs.
Sir Tony Cunningham MP, Tim Farron MP, Jamie Reed MP, John Stevenson MP, Rory Stewart MP and John Woodcock MP, all chose to host the special day, in a bid to raise the profile of Cumbria.
– Mary Houston, Food Tourism Co-ordinator, Taste Cumbria"Food, drink and agriculture is vital to our visitor economy. Recent research showed that £429m was spent by visitors to Cumbria on food and drink in 2011 - the highest spend of any other tourism activity in the county, even accommodation.
"Our producers work with our stunning landscape to create amazing and award winning produce, some of which we're proud to be showing off today."
