Jedburgh health centre has officially opened following a redesign.
The oldest health centre in the Scottish Borders has officially re-opened, after receiving nearly two million pounds worth of investment.
Jedburgh's Health Centre now provides extra services to the local community as Rachel Sweeney reports:
– John Raine, Chairman of NHS Borders"Two or three years ago it was recognised that it needed a real major change and extension, total refurbishment, and that is what has now happened, so it can now provide a full range of services for the people of Roxburghshire."

The centre has undergone a £1.6 million refurbishment, including new dentist surgeries and a new podiatry clinic.
The upgrade comes after it was found that the centre, which has been open since 1970, was no longer fit for purpose.
