Health hub for older people opens

Age UK are welcoming people to a new advice centre in the South Lakes.

One stop shop for health help

The centre has been made possible because of a £56,000 grant from Cumbria Partnership NHS.

It brings together a range of charities under one roof where people can get advice.

The big difference between this and other services is that people can actually speak face to face with an expert.

Age UK are represented along with organisations who can assist people dealing with problems such as Alzheimers Disease and Macular degeneration.
