These images show what St. Ninian's Hall looks like at the moment, and how it is expected to look once the development work is completed.
These artist's impressions show the annex due to be built on to the side of the hall, providing space for a new cafe, public toilets and a retail store.
A small community in Galloway is celebrating after securing almost £1 million from the Big Lottery Fund.
The 'Isle Futures' community charity has been awarded £940,000 to develop St. Ninian's Hall, which is owned by local residents.
Development plans include the construction of an annex to the hall, which will provide a cafe facility, a new retail outlet and new public toilets.
Planning for the new annex has already been approved by Dumfries and Galloway Council and details can be viewed here.
Construction is due to begin in the Summer with the opening scheduled for Spring next year.
