Carlisle's first ever Tourism Conference is being held at the Hallmark Hotel.
The free event has been organised by Carlisle City County and is aimed at bringing together local tourism providers and other businesses that have links with the industry.
Over 100 businesses are expected to attend and highlights of the day will include talks by representatives from Visit England, Hadrian's Wall Trust, Cumbria Tourist Board and Carlisle City Council.
"This is the first time a tourism conference has been held in Carlisle and we're delighted that we've got such an impressive range of key speakers.
"It will provide an opportunity for local businesses to contribute their views, help shape the future of Carlisle's tourism and prioritise actions for the coming year."
