Tributes have been paid to a man who died after being shot in the leg on a Borders Farm. Adam Hepburn from Hawick died from his injuries in the early hours of yesterday, May 8.
Adam loved playing rugby and taking part in the local common riding festivals.
He was a former pupil of Hawick High School. Alan Williamson, Rector at the school, has paid tribute to him.

A man has died, with a gunshot wound to his leg, on the outskirts of Hawick in the Scottish Borders.
Police say his death is not being treated as suspicious. Hannah McNulty reports.
A 22-year-old man who died after suffering a shotgun wound to his leg has been named locally as Adam Hepburn.
Emergency services were called to a rural location near Hawick, in the Scottish Borders last night (7th May) at 11.45pm.
Mr Hepburn was taken to Borders General Hospital in Melrose, but died early this morning.

"He was taken to the Borders General Hospital, however passed away in the early hours of this morning. Enquiries are currently at an early stage."
