Police say a twenty month old girl who was trapped under a car at a Lake District camp site owes her life to the quick thinking of other campers.
The child is in a serious condition in hospital after suffering head, leg and pelvic injuries following the incident at Lanefoot Farm, near Keswick.

A toddler is in a serious condition in hospital after an accident at a campsite in the Lake District.
The girl, who is 20 months old, is being treated in Newcastle's RVI hospital after she became trapped under a van at Lanefoot Campsite at Thornthwaite, near Keswick on Sunday morning.
She is reported to have serious head, leg and pelvis injuries but her condition is not thought to be life threatening.
