ITV drama will highlight awareness of prostate cancer

In the run up to Father's Day ITV has launched a campaign called 'Stand By Your Man' to cut down the number of men dying from prostate cancer. The disease kills at least one man every hour in this country.

The campaign aims to encourage women to talk to the men in their lives about prostate cancer.

The campaign is going to be finding out how it can be identified, treated or monitored.

Every night this week we will be discovering more about the disease, talking to people who's lives have been affected by it and seeing what can be done about it.

A drama featuring some very well known faces is being shown on ITV 4 on Sunday, June 16, at 11:15pm. It is called "Father's Day".
