A 55-year-old woman remains in a "critical but stable" condition in hospital after suffering a heavy fall from her horse during Guid Nychburris Day celebrations on Saturday (15th June).
Kate Hislop, from Lockerbie, was taking part in the annual Riding of the Marches "chases" at Park Farm, when the accident happened.
She was treated at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary before being transfered to the Western General Hospital in Edinburgh.
Police Scotland are continuing with their investigations and are asking for any witnesses to contact them on 101.
Thousands of people celebrated the riding of the marches in Dumfries. It's a tradition that goes back to the 12th century and helps commemorate the town getting its royal charter.

'Riding of the Marches' is underway in Dumfries. Around 200 riders are in the town parading the ceremonial boundaries. Hundreds of people were there to see them set off from The Mid Steeple.
