School children from in and around Kelso have been learning about the town's Abbey.
The interactive project has seen school groups visit the site, and create drama and artwork from what they have learned.
These children told ITV Border what they have found out about the Abbey, and the monks that founded it:

The exhibition is a collection of work done by local school children, who have been learning about the medieval abbey, and the monks that built it.

The exhibition brings together a selection of work by pupils from a number of schools across the Scottish Borders to celebrate the 900th anniversary of the founding of the Tironisian Order of Monks at the Abbey.
Artwork, videos and animations have been created by school pupils over a six week period and tell the story of the Abbey from its beginning to the present day.

Artwork and drama is on display in Kelso, showcasing work by school children who have been learning about the town's Abbey.
Work including poetry, animation and videos explain the historic background to the abbey, which was founded by monks in the 12th century.
The children also looked at its destruction by the English Army in 1545, and its current day status as an historic icon of the town.
The exhibition is open to the public at the following times:
Tuesday 18th June 1pm to 4pm
