Cleator became the first Cumbrian team yesterday to reach the final of the National Village Cup for thirty years.
Their win over Rolleston means that the whole village is now gearing up for a showpiece final at Lords next month.

Joe Rooney narrowly missed out on taking Cleator to the final in the eighties.
He spoke to ITV Border about the moment he watched his son lead them to the club's greatest victory.

Cleator Cricket Club beat Staffordshire side Rolleston to book their place in the Davidstow Village Cup final at Lords next month.
The Staffordshire side batted first and a strong performance in the field saw Cleator bowl them out for just 86. In reply Cleator lost early wickets and at one point were reduced to 20-3.
