Police searching for a missing 93-year-old woman in the Scottish Borders have confirmed that a body has been found.
Police and mountain rescue helicopters were searching the area around Southdean, near Hawick, where Jean Arres went missing. The body has yet to be formally identified.

Police in the Scottish Borders are appealing for help to trace a 93-year-old woman who has gone missing from her home outside Hawick.
Jean Arres, who stays at Whiteburn, Southdean - a rural area around ten miles to the south of Hawick - was last seen at her home around 9pm on Saturday.
She was reported missing yesterday after she failed to turn up for church.

- Of slight build
- Grey hair
- Normally wears a grey/blue jacket tied around the waist with baler twine, and cream corduroy trousers
- Likely to be wearing wellies
