The former Lonsdale Cinema in Carlisle is going up for auction in a move that local businesses hope will help boost City Centre regeneration.
The cinema, which closed in 2006, is being sold with a guide price of £550,000.
The building was constructed in the 1930's and the premises are situated within a Conservation Area, which were de-listed in 2010.
