Prince Charles' Cumbrian visit comes to an end

If you've been keeping an eye on international affairs you'll know that eight-month-old Prince George has made his first public appearance today down under.

But, closer to home, his grandfather has been on a visit to Cumbria.

Prince Charles has said it's marvellous to be back in the county.

During a day of public engagements he has been to an auction mart near Kendal, a hotel in Penrith and a pub in Caldbeck.

He finished the day with a visit to Workington, and our correspondent Tim Backshall was there.
