Police are continuing to appeal for information after a three vehicle crash near Carlisle that left one man with 'life changing' injuries.
The crash happened at 11am on Sunday 22 June on the A6071 at the Roadhead junction near to Kirklinton, and involved two motorbikes and a Range Rover.
The driver of a Yamaha motorbike, a man from Sunderland, was taken to the RVI in Newcastle, where he remains with serious, non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Range Rover has contacted police officers.
Cumbria Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time of the collision to contact them on the 101 non-emergency number.
Police have described the injuries suffered by the biker airlifted to the RVI as 'life changing' rather than life threatening.
The road is now reopened to traffic.
Two motorbikes and a car were involved in a serious crash at around 11am this morning.
Two bikes, a Yamaha and a BMW, were involved in an accident with a red Range Rover Evoque.
The BMW rider was seriously hurt. The rider of the other bike was uninjured.
Police are looking for the driver of the Range Rover which did not stop at the scene.
