The Ryder Cup trophy made an appearance in the Scottish Borders today.
The trophy, one of the most famous in sport, is visiting a number of golf clubs in Scotland ahead of the Ryder Cup competition at Gleneagles in September.
The trophy arrived this afternoon - coinciding with a week of coaching for the young players of the future. Tim Backshall reports

Children who've been having golf lessons at the Hawick Gold Club got the chance to see it.
The club is the only one in the Borders to get a visit from the trophy.
