Olympic hero Sir Bradley Wiggins has met young fans in Carlisle ahead of the start of Britain's biggest cycle.
Today's stage two of the Tour of Britain runs from Carlisle to Kendal with the race getting underway in Carlisle city centre at 11am.
Before the race Sir Bradley, who has won five Olympic gold medals as well the 2012 Tour de France, this morning visited the Carlisle branch of electrical wholesaler YESSS Electrical.
The company sponsors Wiggins and his cycling team.

Olympic gold medallist and Tour de France Champion Bradley Wiggins will be cycling through Cumbria when the Tour of Britain comes to the county next month.
He's expected to be a huge draw for spectators on September 12 when stage 4 kicks off from the Old Town Hall in Carlisle. The Scottish leg from Jedburgh to Dumfries takes place the day before. It's hoped his appearance in Carlisle will encourage a new generation of young cyclists.
