Read the full storyPolice say it's a miracle no-one was killed when a building collapsed into a river in Cumbria. It's thought heavy rain damaged the foundations of the block of flats that fell early this morning. Ryan Dollard sent this report from Egremont.
At this stage it is not thought anyone has been injured in the Egremont building collapse. It was a block of flats but it is believed that the occupants were away when it collapsed.
A block of flats has partially collapsed in Egremont in West Cumbria. Police have not said what happened to cause the side of the house at Bridge End to collapse. The road at South Street is closed and diversions are in place.
Cumbria police say the diversions will be in place for some time.
