Police Scotland have confirmed the identity of the 23-year-old woman who tragically died during a collision near Galashiels.
Bronte Sarona Hutchinson from Jedburgh died at the scene after sustaining serious injuries when she came off a motorcycle.
Ms Hutchison was pronounced dead at the scene.
The motorcycle was travelling on the A6091 during the early hours of Sunday 5th August.
The driver, a 27-year-old man, also came off the bike but was released from hospital with no serous injuries.
Inquiries into the full circumstances surrounding this collision are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to come forward.
