A woman has been taken to hospital after falling from a horse in Cumbria.
The woman, in her forties, sustained a head injury after the incident near Cumwhinton on Sunday afternoon.
She was treated at the scene by the North West Ambulance Service, and was airlifted to hospital in Newcastle by the Great North Air Ambulance.
The woman's injuries were reported as serious, but she was in a stable condition when she arrived at hospital.
