A teenager from Dumfries and Galloway has just been named Scotland's top junior dog handler of the year.

15-year-old Bethany Green, and her dog Boo, were given the honour at the championships in Cumberland.

She fought off stiff competition to take the title, and is now looking forward to competing at Crufts.

"It was amazing, I loved it, it was great. We had to start off by going in the ring, and we had to all line up and stand our dogs and then one by one we had to put them onto the table and then we got given an instruction, which we did, we then had to go back to the end and then she picked who she wanted."
