Police say drivers across Scotland are ignoring warnings about driving while under the influence of alcohol.
In the second week of the festive drink drug driving campaign, 79 people were caught drink driving, and a further six were caught driving under the influence of drugs.
A 62-year-old man from Castle Douglas was arrested after crashing into a parked car at four o'clock in the morning on December 12th.
He was given a breath test and found to be nearly three times over the limit.
He was charged with drink driving and careless driving, fined £500 and disqualified for 30 months.
