HRH The Duchess of Gloucester is visiting Cumbrian charity, Hospice at Home, which provides palliative care to patients at home.
The hospice is celebrating it's 20th anniversary. 150 staff, trustees, patrons and volunteers will gather for the royal visit and anniversary celebrations.
The Duchess of Gloucester visited several locations including the new £27 million mental health facility at Midpark Hospital in Dumfries. Her Royal Highness unveiled of a plaque to commemorate the official opening of the facility.
Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Gloucester will visit a number of organisations in Dumfries and Galloway. She will plant a tree at the new building at Locharthur Community in Beeswing, which is part of the Camphill Trust which helps those with learning disabilities and special needs.
She will also visit a new £27 million mental health facility at Midpark Hospital in Dumfries, where she'll unveil a plaque.
