Queen of the South 4-1 Stranraer
Queen of the South extended their lead at the top of Division Two with a 4-1 win over Stranraer at Palmerston Park.
The hosts were first to concede a goal, as Frank McKeown scored a header. Nicky Clark equalled for Queens before half time.
The visitors were then put away in the second half as Clark found another two goals, before Kevin Smith finished off in the 84th minute.
Carlisle 3-0 Hartlepool
Carlisle added to the problems of bottom side Hartlepool in League One with a 3-0 win at home.
Sam Collins was forst to score for the hosts, before Matty Robson made in 2-0 with a goal against his former club.
Lee Miller finished off the scoring, putting Carlisle five points clear of the relegation zone.
