James Fowler's side got off to a strong start, with Derek Lyle's goal giving them a half-time lead.
Lee Wallace's own goal, just 16 seconds into the second half, helped the Doonhamers push further ahead.
And before the final whistle Gavin Reilly made it 3-0.
The win moves Queen of the South above Falkirk to fourth in the Championship table.
