Queen of the South 3 - 0 Rangers

Queen of the South's hopes for a play-off place at the end of the season received a boost last night after they won 3-0 at home to Glasgow Rangers.

James Fowler's side got off to a strong start, with Derek Lyle's goal giving them a half-time lead.

Lee Wallace's own goal, just 16 seconds into the second half, helped the Doonhamers push further ahead.

And before the final whistle Gavin Reilly made it 3-0.

The win moves Queen of the South above Falkirk to fourth in the Championship table.
