A man has been arrested for drink driving, after his vehicle overturned on a road in south Cumbria.
The 44-year-old man, from Wakefield, was over the limit when his silver Land Rover Discovery flipped on the B5285 between Hawkshead and Near Sawrey.
Police were called at 9:18pm on 2 February to the incident, and say the man remains in custody.
The police sent out this tweet, warning other drivers.
Lack of funding could result in the closure of GP surgeries in rural areas.
Westmorland and Lonsdale MP Tim Farron has called for a special fund to be set up to support GPs' surgeries in isolated rural areas, including parts of the Lake District.
Due to an income guarantee scheme being withdrawn, Mr Farron said that surgeries in Coniston and Hawkshead could be at risk of closure.
The owner of Esthwaite Water at Hawkshead is hoping to sell the lease for one of Cumbria's most-loved lakes to someone passionate about the area.
The lake is on the market for £300,000 for a 15 year lease and has links to Beatrix Potter and poet William Wordsworth.
