A man from Earlston in the Scottish Borders has been charged with stalking, and is due to appear at Selkirk Sheriff Court tomorrow (27th November).
Lothian and Borders Police made the arrest after an alleged incident involving a woman at Galashiels Bus Station in Stirling Street, on 24th November.
He is currently being held in custody.
A 41-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged assault on a woman in Peebles.The 52-year-old was attacked on November 13th when she was working in a shop on the High Street.
The man is scheduled to appear at Selkirk Sheriff Court tomorrow (November 22nd).
Meanwhile, Detectives are continuing to investigate a second report of assault on a 41-year-old woman in Dovecot Road on November 17th.
Lothian and Borders Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
