The livestock sale is now underway at the first Christmas Cracker event in Newton St Boswells.
Show organiser Jack Clark told ITV Border what the livestock show and sale has to offer:
Cattle have been arriving ahead of the inaugural Christmas Cracker show in Newtown St Boswells.
The new show in the Borders is set to be one of the largest winter events of its kind.
It begins at 3pm with judging of sheep and cattle, followed by the main sale, starting at 5pm.
Organisers welcome the public to come along too, to learn about local producers and the way they work.
