Missing woman could have stayed in the Lakes

A Nottingham woman who has been missing for two years may have spent time in the Lake District.

44 year old Debbie Starbuck, who is formerly known as Debbie Cooper, was last seen on 21st April 2010. Debbie has lived in London, Northamptonshire, and Dublin, it is though she may also have spent time in the Lake District.

Her disappearance has been described as completely out of character.

She is described as white, around 5ft 5" tall and medium build and was last seen with shoulder length brown wavy hair. a police spokesperson said:

“We want to hear from anyone who knows Debbie but is yet to speak to the police. If you have seen her since 21 April, we also need to hear from you.

“You may recognise Debbie as someone who has stayed at your hotel or hostel, or you may have travelled with her. If you know where she is, please let us know.

“Debbie is well travelled but her family and friends raised concerns because they have not heard from her. She would always be in touch for birthdays and special occasions but for the last two years, she doesn’t seem to have made contact with anyone.”
