A Cumbrian teenager is swapping his day job as a kitchen salesman for a summer in showbiz performing on stage on the continent.
Matthew Pagan from Carlisle is one of a handful of performers selected from across the UK for Thomson Gold's entertainment team.

A 19-year-old boy from Cumbria has won a coveted singing and acting role in Spain, with one of the countries best known holiday companies.
Matthew Pagan will soon be swapping his day job as a kitchen salesman for the sunny shores of Spain after beating off hundreds of people in the prestigious competition.
He travelled down to London last week for the final of the auditions and was overwhelmed when he won.
"This is dream cometrue and I can’t wait to get started, this is the start of the career I havedreamt about for so long."
