Dream come true for Cumbrian ice skater

It was a story of how a dream came true for a Kelso man who's devoted his life to helping young people, and it was all thanks to ITV.

91-year-old Bill Watts is a former ice figure skater, and set up the Border Ice Skating Club in Kelso 48 years ago.

One of his former pupils wanted to say thank you, and she did it in style, by writing to ITV's Surprise Surprise.

On last night's programme, he got to meet, and dance with his heroes, Jayne Torville and Christopher Dean.

Here's how it happened.

Surprise Surprise: Linda Oliver interview

On tonight's Lookaround, Pam and Ian met Linda Oliver, who has spent years working for Guide Dogs for the Blind.

Linda lost her own sight in her 30s, after years of partial vision, and visits people who are visually impaired throughout Cumbria and the North East.

Nominated for ITV's Surprise Surprise, she spent a day with fashion stylist Gok Wan.
