A meeting with Vodafones Chief Executive has been demanded by Border's MSP John Lamont after the signal was lost in Hawick again at the weekend.
The small Borders town has been hit with numerous signal problems over the last three weeks with the service becoming frequently unavailable.
It has meant that Vodafone customers haven't been able to make or send texts or calls.John Lamont MSP has also arranged a meeting with Ofcom to raise his concerns about Vodafone's service.
Hundreds of people in Hawick are unable to receive texts or phonecalls as Vodafone's mobile service fails for the second time in a fortnight.
Local MSP John Lamont, who contacted Vodafone to get their services up and running last week, has called on them to compensate local customers and businesses who are now starting to lose out due to their loss of coverage.
