New stadium expected to get the go ahead
Officials are expected to confirm today that a new five and a half million pound stadium for Whitehaven Rugby League Club WILL go ahead. There had been fears the scheme would stall over a row about access. An announcement's also due on which world cup teams will play there in 2013.
