Woman assaulted during birthday celebrations in Carlisle
A 21 year old woman has been assaulted in Carlisle while celebrating her birthday. The young woman was approached by a man and a woman, spat at, punched in the face pulled to the floor and kicked in the head.
It happened outside the Outrageous Bar in Carlisle at 2am on Friday 23rd March.
The victim was admitted into the Cumberland Infirmary, it's thought she suffered a broken nose.
An 18 year old man and a 19 year old woman were arrested on Friday 23rd March 2012 on suspicion of GBH . They have been interviewed and released on police bail until 19th May 2012 .
